It’s time for the Corcoran High School reunion.  It is our fifty-second year reunion for the Class of 1956.  Invitations are being sent to the class of 1956; however, everyone interested is welcome!  

Sunday, September 14^th

  3:00 p.m.                 Hotel check-in

  5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Hot dogs, chips and sodas will be served in the Conference Room.  (Afterwards, we can reminisce and relax in the room.)  

Monday, September 15^th

8:00 – 10:00 a.m. Free light brunch in the Conference Room

12:30 p.m.         Burgers at Pismo Dunes Club House

                                (Address:  200 S. Dolliver St., Pismo Beach, CA)

We will have burgers, macaroni and potato salads, chips, sodas, and water.  We will also have Barbara Dunehew’s world-famous home-made chili beans!  BYOB Please.    

We have permission to stay all day, so be ready for dancing, talking, playing pool, cards or other games.  There is also a big-screen TV with a VCR so we can watch old class pictures if anyone chooses to bring them.  

Tuesday, September 16^th

8:00 – 10:00 a.m. Free light brunch (the same as Monday)

After brunch is a free and relaxing day!  Sid Grant and Jim Gonsalves will be in charge of leading a golf day.  To RSVP, call:  Sid (559-733-1281) OR Jim (559-688-0044),

Everyone else can spend the day at Pismo Beach!  You can enjoy walking on the pier, walking or laying on the beach, or shopping in the local shops. 

You also have the option of going shopping in San Luis Obispo where there is a large Gottschalk’s Mall, or enjoying the downtown atmosphere with its quaint shops.  A Must See!!

There are many great places to go for lunch.  A must try:  Firestone BBQ and Grill (located on the corner of Osos and Higuera).  Get the BBQ tri-tip sandwich and fries!  You will not regret it.

7:00 p.m.                  Class reunion dinner at the Spyglass Restaurant.

Dinner menu:

All entrees include a Mixed Green Salad. Rice, Rice Pilaf or Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Freshly Baked Rolls & Butter, Dessert & Coffee service.

Choice of

Filet Mignon: A choice cut filet mignon wrapped in double smoked bacon, charbroiled to perfection and served a top sautéed mushrooms - $35.00

Chicken Marsala: Boneless Breast sautéed with Marsala wine, mushrooms, fresh herbs and cream - $30.00

Halibut: Fresh Halibut broiled to perfection then topped with basil butter- $30.00

The tax and tip are included in the price of the meal.

  After dinner, we will return to the Conference Room and relax.  This is our last night together.  

Wednesday, September 17^th  

8:00 – 10:00 a.m. Brunch in the Conference Room.

11:00 a.m. Check-out time.  We will say our goodbyes and farewells until we can meet again somewhere down the road.  

THE MONEY AND RESERVATION PART

If you would like to stay at the hotel, please call the Spyglass Inn and make your own reservations.  The phone number is (800) 824-2612.  A block of 20 rooms has been reserved for the reunion.  Make sure to ask for the Corcoran High School Reunion block of rooms.  The hotel is completely sold out of rooms during our reunion time, except for these reserved rooms.  Rooms are $94 per night for a king-size bed.  The hotel will only reserve the rooms until August 14, 2008.  The rooms will be released to the public after that date.  If you think you will be attending the reunion, call and reserve a room!  Don’t be left out!
