Bradley & Beverly Gilton

Bradley Gilton:    Born, November 4, 1938 in Gilbert, Az. to a young couple from    Oklahoma who were working their way to California. We arrived in Corcoran in May of 1941. Dad went to work for Elmer Von Glahn.  I Grew up in the South rural area at 1913 So Josephine.

Born again: January 12, 1964 at the little Nazarene Church across the street from CUHS.

Married:   Beverly O’Dell from Alpaugh March 23, 1956 in St. George, Utah.

Family: Daughters Danys, Vicci, and Kimberly were born 2/22/57, 4/7/58, and 7/3/60 respectively who produced five grandchildren who are  23, 22, 22, 16 and 14.

Education:  Finished High School at night in Hanford in 1960. Started COS in Jan. 1965. Finished College in 1971 with a BS degree in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly, SLO.

Occupation: Worked for a large Mechanical contractor in SLO for 5 years, then in 1977, we moved to Visalia and I got a Calif. General contractors licenses. Later added licenses in structural steel and electrical. In 1992, qualified for a Real Estate Brokers license.

Experience: As a general Contractor, I have built over 200 metal buildings, 2 Indian Bingo Buildings, more than 200 apartment units, over 200 condominium units, around 250 single family homes and developed more than 300 subdivision lots. Have also had experience in trucking, farming and restaurants.

Retirement: Not yet, I feel my most productive years are ahead.
